Stage One – Butter: It is important when mixing the lighter colours in particular that your hands are absolutely clean. Begin by mixing a small piece of white fimo and a slightly smaller piece of yellow fimo until thoroughly blended and is what you believe is the colour of butter. Set this aside for use later. See Fig. 2

Stage Two – Green Beans: Take a small piece of Green Fimo (5) and a piece of Leaf Green (57) approx 1/3 of the size and blend together thoroughly to form a cooked green bean colour see Fig.3 for approx quantities. Now take tiny pieces at a time between your fingers and roll into a thin string like form approx ¼ inch long. Repeat this process enough times so that the tiny beans fill the bowl. Now set aside approx 6-8 of these little beans to cook separately to the ones in the bowl. Coat the inside of your ceramic bowl with a thin layer of liquid fimo and fill your bowl with the beans (see Fig. 4). Now take very tiny little chunks of your butter mix and drop them on top of your beans. Now take your paint brush and gently brush the top of the beans and the butter with a liquid fimo to give the impression of melted butter glistening when cooked. Place your bowl of beans and the 6-8 loose beans on a baking tray and bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 130c.
Stage Three - Mashed Potatoes: With clean hands mix a medium sized piece of white, a piece of champagne approx ¼ of the size and a tiny piece of yellow fimo until fully blended. See Fig.4. Now roll a small piece into a ball just large enough to fill your first bowl to approx ¾ full. Before placing this into the bow, coat the inside of your bowl lightly with a little liquid fimo as this will help it to stick during the cooking process (see Fig. 5). Once the potato mix is in the bowl use your clay tool to fluff the mixture so that it looks natural like potatoes spooned into a bowl may look. Take a very tiny piece of the butter you made in stage one and drop two little blobs on top of your potato mix. Now take your paint brush and gently brush the top of the potatoes and the butter with a liquid fimo to give the impression of melted butter glistening when cooked. Before placing in the oven to cook, take the loose beans you cooked earlier and crush them so that they look like crushed parsley and sprinkle a little on top of your potatoes. Place the bowl of potatoes on a baking tray and bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 130c. You could wait until you have prepared your carrots and bake them together if you wish as these two are prepared in the same way.
Stage Four – Buttered Carrots: With Clean hands mix together a medium sized piece of mandarin (orange) fimo and a tiny piece of carmine (red) fimo until fully blended and have the appearance in colour of cooked carrots (see Fig.6). Once blended, roll out into a tubular shape approx the thickness of a kebab skewer. Taking your sharp craft blade slice into thin circles as in Fig. 7. Once again coat the inside of your ceramic dish with liquid fimo and then fill your bowl with the tiny carrot slices, top with little chunks of the butter mix and brush over the top wit ha light coating of liquid fimo. Bake in the oven at 130c for 15 minutes.
